The five stars apply to the contents rather than the e-book itself.
What an adventure! I first heard about the expedition back when I lived in that region of the United States. It is amazing to see how the peoples of these lands are interconnected, with traders crisscrossing almost all areas. How curious Lewis and Clark were, how excited and happy the journey made them, how they bonded with each other, how much they respected their companions, and how they approached the natives.
Of course, all as part of the era. Expecting to see the values of our days is a futile exercise.
(The edition itself is two stars. careless and sloppy. Would be one star but it only costed half a euro, and what can you expect for so much money.)
