So, I would be lying if I said that I didn't enjoy all the twists and turns that occurred during this sequel. The way this book began and ended was simply brilliant to me and was the perfect ghetto hood story!!! Ok, I was left on a cliff hanger and was dying to know what happened at the end of book 1... As always, Author Mel B did her thing as MeMe and her boo Q captured my heart all over again. I loved Q's thuggish behavior and the way he showed more love in this book than book one ... It seemed like after the shooting, MeMe had matured a lot and wasn't acting so shy and defensless. I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy the small chase she made Q go on during this book. I felt that she deserved the right to be locked up in the house and be left alone after all the things she went through (her mother passing, the shooting and the pregnancy). It was no wonder she was overwhelmed. I loved how eventually Kay Kay stepped in and cleaned the house for her best friend and opened the door for Q because i feared she was done with him for good... Moving on though, I enjoyed the fact that all of the characters seemed to mature and progress in life with love, having babies and marriage. To be honest, i had a lot of things that i secretly "wanted to happen" for each couple in this book and remarkably the author made it happen!! She met her mark. I felt like Mel B and I had a big pow-wow before she wrote this book and she made my dreams come true with her words! I can't completely review this book without mentioning that the 'gangsta' scenes were more than i bargained for. The author did not play around with the plot of the story and literally just brought the drama on, getting straight to the point. No fluff was added. Q, Big Zues and Blandon put an end to a lot of folks who I felt deserved to be dealt with!! I don't want to reveal too much but let's just say that everyone got exactly what they deserved. Overall this book quickly put an end to all my questions and curiosities about the characters and the plots, just the way I like a book to do. There were some very small typos hidden in the text, but it was nothing I couldn't push past. Nothing was spelled incorrectly, mostly an issue of that darn auto-correct (every authors nightmare). Overall this was quite great read and if there were a book 3 I would definitely be one of the first in line trying to read it. The entire series is a MUST READ!!
This book was amazing beside the grammar. Q & B were so e amazing young men that stuck with girls, even wait the argument they had the guys never mess around with another female.
Meme at to childish and whining. SJ didn't get to far. Blandon i hated about what happen to him and meme. Q just didn't care. Kisha and Big Z I can't wait to read their spin-off Big Z and Kisha Love is nothing like a Fairy Tales. I enjoyed this book one and two
