In a feature on Ramshackle Glam, Time Magazine wrote, "Of all the changes wrought by social media, few underscore the reach of the individual like the rise of Reid."
Reid has conceptualized, styled and executed national campaigns for companies including Dove, TJ Maxx, DKNY, Simple Skincare, and Timex, and has appeared in a wide variety of publications and websites, including InStyle, New York Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, and The Nest. For those of us who have already experience pregnancy and motherhood, we can laugh and relate. For those who are ready to experience, enjoy this journey.
I was laughing out loud as I read along, and all the fun activities within the pages. May each mama-to-be find joy in these pages.
I won a copy of this book during a Goodreads giveaway. I am under no obligation to leave a review or rating and do so voluntarily. I am paying it forward by passing this book along to a family member who I think will enjoy it too.
This book is just the absolute best. When I got pregnant I was kind of blindsided by all the ways in which it is difficult and terrible while simultaneously being the most amazing thing ever. At many points I needed some help getting through and this book really did help. It’s hilarious, creative, and honest, and when I felt so miserable that all I could do was laugh about it, the commentary and activities in the book were the perfect remedy. It’s especially great when you’re up with pregnancy insomnia at 4am while your baby is busy doing all the kicks and backflips. My only critique is that the word searches are next to impossible, but the rest is excellent. A standout was doing the madlibs with my husband. There are 2 and I laughed until I cried both times! If you or someone you know is pregnant and could use some comic relief, or just something different from the typical pregnancy books, I highly recommend this one!

I got this as a baby shower gift, and I only wish I had gotten it sooner so I could have read and done the activities as I progressed through the pregnancy. So funny and irreverent, with lots of cute activities, and sprinkled in with all the humor were little nuggets of love, reassurances, and a "you got this, mama!" attitude. I loved it.
Some bits were easy to read and quite funny but not really my cup of tea (colouring in/ doing activities etc). It’s a real tongue in cheek look at a pregnancy journey but one I don’t think would be great for a first time mum! As a third time mum I was able to take all the sarcastic comments!!
I got it too late in my third trimester but the activities are fun. I didn't fill out much and will pass it over to a friend who is trying for the first time.
