I loved this. Seriously good nature poetry, a lot of it set here in Lawrence & environs. Also cool illustrations. This seems like a really obscure book, which is sad because it's one of the best poetry collections I've read this year. I have previously enjoyed Denise Low's nonfiction, now this volume makes me want to gather and read ALL her poetry.

Startling my family, I sounded like this when reading: *gasp* .... *wheeze* ...OMG!! ... *sigh* ... *gasp* ...Yes this!! ... *deep sigh* This was an emotional book for me.
