Great book, I spent time at Coffield as a Field Sergeant about 25 years ago. This book is on point regarding how the TDCJ operates. Thank you for writing it Warden Glenn.

Former warden Lon Glenn writes of his experience in the Texas prison system. In his book he discuss the transition of the system over its existance. Glenn analyzies the legal changes that have occurred and verbally paints protraits of employess and inmates. Included is a frank discussion of the ecexutions carried out. This is an interesting read for anyone interested in prisons.
