About the author

Catherine Bowman

Catherine has been writing since she was a child. She always seeking to make an emotional connection with her readers. She started out writing short stories with HEA endings and moved into erotica in her mid-teens. It wasn't until her late twenties that she moved into other genres.

Always a reader she wanted to write like her favourites - Anne Rice, C.S. Lewis and Piers Anthony for example - and strove to hone her craft from cheesy, teenage fantasies to something more gritty. Her erotica became darker and began to have more story to it until eventually she wrote her first novel, a story about a coven of Valkyrie who demanded a tribute of young men from a nearby village once a generation. The tale combined the sexy and the horrific.

Since then Catherine has written several longer short stories and a few novels. Her current project, the urban fiction series Highland Wolves, is her focus (except in November, when she writes NaNo) and her love.

Not yet published traditionally, Catherine is working hard to make sure her books are the best they can be while she seeks the best fit for her unconventional writing style. Meanwhile, Witch Hitlist, her first Highland Wolves novel, can be found on Amazon and Kindle.
