This retelling of Little Women has not recieved any awards that I am aware of, and is perfect for first grade students. It retells the basic plot of Little Women by Louisa May Alcott with colorful and expressive illustrations, and simplifies the story so that it is easily understandable for kids. Jo is a fun character that kids can relate to and have fun exploring. Teachers can use this book in accompanyment with dramatic play stations, or place it in the class library for kids to enjoy.

Had it on cassete tape when i was 8 or 9. I dont know about english version but i remember the Greek. (Κασετα -Εκδοσεις Μορφωτικη, πατριωτακια)
