We made it through the trip. It wasn't easy though. You remember me saying I'd be rid of him, right? It didn't happen. I don't care what I did, he was still there. For one reason or another, he was there. My best friend and his friend decided to get married. They called to let us know. Of course they couldn't make it easy. We had to be there the next morning. Ugh! Talk about notice. We made it in time for the wedding. It only made sense to drive together. I ended up so glad we did. Something happened and I'd gotten sick. The man had to make things even more difficult for me. He took care of me the entire time. He lost time with his friend to take be there for me. Once we'd gotten back home, I told him to go. Did he? Of course not. He was right there until he had to leave. I know that sounded sweet of him. It was. I had never been taken care of like that, not ever. He had to make it that much harder for me to follow my rules. Those three I'd been following for years. Don't get close, never fall in love, and always have fun. I had to keep following them for his safety and mine. It had to be that way. They couldn't be broken. I had my reasons. I was still sick two days later. That crap wouldn't go away. My friend's mom suggest I take a pregnancy test. Yeah right! There was no way that was possible. I was never having kids. Did I say never? I meant never ever. Those days were over. That would never happen. I went to the store and got the test just to prove her wrong. I did my job. Then I waited. When I lifted that stick, my entire world changed. It couldn't be. Really love how both characters are really starting to mature and come into their own together and apart. You really are able to identify with the struggles Lucy is going through. Cant wait to see where they will go from here

Omg I want Carrie's mom in my life yesterday!! She is so stinking awesome. The flow is still perfect and all the angst is still there. I actually teared up in this one and almost cried. Being in Lucy's current situation has got to be rough.

I'm in serious anxiety now! These two are going to give me a heart attack. A Series you cannot miss, you can't put it down either, It's addictive and keeps getting better and better.
More exciting by the page. I could not believe the ending. I mean OMG!
To refresh everyone, Lance is the sexy, hot, cocky STAR pitcher for the Pirates, and he has no intentions of having anything but fun. Until he met Lucy. Now he's met his match, and he can't seem to let go, and when I mean he can't let go, I mean he's really having difficulty. He cant understand why Lucy is pushing him away. No women has ever turned him away.
Lucy's out to prove she doesn't want him, or any other man, even though she won't admit to herself she wants and needs him. Lucy has a past she can't let go of, but her past is catching up with her.
More is at stake now. Secrets are being kept, and now more than ever Lucy feels she has to stand her ground.
Between the two of them trying to prove their own points; rules have been broken, and lines have been crossed.
One night can change everything, and one poor judgement call by Lance could destroy it all. Consequences are inevitable. What's either of them going to do now?

**Must read part 1&2 to understand and get the full effect of the story! **
So in this part Lucy confirms with Carries mom that she is for sure 100% pregnant with lances baby. Only problem is she has to come to terms with it before she can tell lance, then when she does tell him she's afraid on how he will react. She wasn't suppose to have a baby by another man not was she suppose to love someone other than brad. But with his absence because of his death she's finding that no matter what she will love this baby more than life itself. When she goes to tell Lance they end up in bed first with a knock on the door that's another woman. Problem with this scenario is she left the ultrasound pic on his nightstand......Holy Cliffhanger!
Lance & Lucy are probably right now my top Cummin couples! They hate each but deep down I know there's something there, Lucy is just afraid to loose someone again and Lance just wants to act like a player. I think he truly cares for Lucy it's just easy to rile her up than to admit it! I can't wait to see how their story unfolds because I'm hoping they get their happy ending!!!

Lucy and Lance are going to be parents, for any other couple this will be the best news ever, but for this two is something that will change their lives forever. Her guilt is keeping her from enjoying the best news ever, and for Lance he has no clue what is going on.
Luckily Lucy has Carrie's mom that is helping her come to terms with this incredible news and the secret that she has been keeping for the last five years. She will have to accept her new reality and figure how will she let Lance know.
As always this two will leave you wanting more and more. Not only this installment is the most important one of this series, it guides a path to their journey. Each page will leave you with a small puncture in your heart. With each tear Lucy sheds, you will too, with each smile she smiles, you will too, with each heartache she endures, you will too.
If you have not had the pleasure of meeting Lance and Lucy, I recommend for you to read them now, you don't want to wait too long. Now am sitting here baiting my nails waiting to see what is the next step for this two passionate yet lovable characters.

This story picks up where books 1 and 2 leave off. (You must read those in order for this book to make sense!!) A hot relationship between Lucy and Lance, a baseball player who by all accounts is a player on and off the field. However, Lance is quickly seeing that he actually has feelings, real feelings for Lucy. Feelings that he isn't used to and doesn't know what to do with. Lucy on the other hand, found out big news of her own and refuses to let Lance in on the news. She's going to handle everything on her own, for now. This book probably covers about 2-3 weeks in their relationship, simply because of the events that happen. As Sharon Cummin always does, she leaves us wondering what's going to happen next and where the story is going to go. My only complaint for this book is the repetition. Lucy and Lance often have text conversations and you see what is happening on each side of the story. But, the conversations are repeated so that you can see what is going on on each side. I know it has to happen in order to get both points of view, but I also found myself skimming a few sections because I knew what was coming. Other than that, I loved the story! I can't wait to see what happens next!

After the cliffhanger from book 2, I was left wondering what Lucy’s reaction would be to the new situation she found herself in. I have to say that this series keeps getting better and I continue to sit on the edge of my seat with Lucy and Lance’s “relationship”.
Lucy is determined to do things on her own and she still refuses to admit she’s falling for Lance. He is just as determined as her and keeps telling himself and everyone else that it’s just fun what he’s looking to get from his time with her.
This book had so much more insight into the real feelings these two have for each other. There was so much soul searching that needed to be done and although they tried to be honest with themselves, they still fought against what everyone else could see.
I can’t wait to see how Lucy deals with the situation at the end of this book. Another cliffhanger that left me scratching my head and screaming at my Kindle. I am so looking forward to more of Lucy and Lance.

Sharon has done it once again in leaving her readers wanting more with this book.
After Lucy’s panic in the last book things get a little bit worse for her and Lances relationship.
Carries mom helps Lucy out a lot in this book and there is a part in this book that had me in tears Lucy isn’t sure what she wants anymore apart from one thing! (I’m not spoiling the book for anyone) Lance is in the same boat he can’t seem to get Lucy out of his head and he tries a number of times to try and forgot her.
As the book continues Lucy finally goes to Lance to talk however things don’t go as planned and someone turns up to dash all of Lucy’s hopes.
And now we have to wait to find out if she will tell Lance her secrets and if they will get a happy ever after I so cannot wait for part 4 of this book

Lucy gets a wake up call...the tummy bug that just wouldn't ease up, well think two little lines on a stick. With the love and support of Carrie's mum and a little introspective thought, Lacey comes to grips with what lies in her future and she is determined to be the best parent ever.
Lucy knows that Lance's career is his number one priority, so she is hesitant to tell him the news. She doesn't plan on keeping it a secret, she is just being selective about when she tells him.
Lance has no idea where he stands, poor guy is having enough trouble trying to make sense of his "feelings", something very foreign to him and then with Lucy acting all weird, he truly doesn't know if he is coming and going.
I am just loving these two so much and I am silently cheering Lucy on in her journey, she is a character with spunk and a soft heart!

First let me say this is a series, you need to read them in order!! I am really loving this series so much. I just got through reading this part and I am sitting on pins and needles waiting for the next part. A serious cliffhanger again, be warned. At the end of book 2, Lucy did a home pregnancy test and it came out positive, now she needs to verify with a dr. It doesn't seem like Lucy and Lance can get a hold of what they want. Neither wants a committed relationship they say, but what happens now?? Lucy is still hung up on her deceased husband, who no one even knows about. Lance thinks it is her brother. He is still all about his baseball career. Carrie's mom is going to be her life saver I think. What happens when Lance finds out about the baby?? Sharon, you are killing me, I need the next book now!! Actually the last 2 would be very helpful.

Holy Moses! This part was seriously intense! I was shocked, thrilled, irritated, elated, and ticked off and that doesn't even cover the whole suitcase of emotions I've bundled into my suitcase waiting to see what happens in Part 4. I love Lance and Lucy. Their denials of wanting each other and a relationship are still hilarious and their banter is insanely amusing. I love that she changes his name in her phone. He is trying so hard to resist admitting being in love and she is in denial so deep I think she has found the fountain of youth. The picture will play an interesting part in the upcoming serial. I can't wait til the end of the month!

I have loved how this series has grown and relationship between Lance and Lucy has taken them both by surprise. They both want to be together but are scared about how the other one feels. Lucy is still struggling to come to terms with the death of Brad and feels she is betraying her love for him by being with Lance and having his baby. Lance loved being the centre of attention and is confused about how he feels about how Lucy belittles his career and the fact that women fall at his feet.
Lucy has a great friendship with Carrie and it's lovely to see her mum reaching out to help her as thought she's her daughter as well.
This is a great series but you must read the first two books to follow the story, it ends with a frustrating cliffhanger!

First you must read parts 1&2 to understand Lucy and Lance and their relationship. Well the story continues with more suspense. Lucy is pregnant with Lance's baby. However Lance has no idea and since she cuts off most communication with him he is having a hard time dealing. Both are stubborn people who can't admit their feelings and open up. This makes it hard on them. Lucy finally decides to talk to Lance and she inadvertently drops a huge bomb on him by mistake and he also now made a mess of things.
The story is amazing. Full of action pack drama and two very hot headed smart mouths who can't get their act together. I'm looking forward to the next stage into their journey.

WOW what an amazing book! This was definitely an emotional book that pulled at my heart. I loved it and wanted to throw my phone at the same time. But I need more! Gotta read part 4!
