This is a wonderful story of a young girl and her good friend Monsieur Jac (a snail). She is taken on an adventure but only in her imagination. The author has taken the story quite creatively - as the young girl cannot travel and see the sights she wants to see for real, so her friend Monsieur Jac suggests a trip anyway - but they will imagine the sights and sounds of Europe with their creative minds.

Children will love this story, following Monsieur Jac and Lily all across Europe - learning about famous cities and landmarks through the eye of young Lily in the book. The illustrations are wonderful and the author has collated a timeless story. Highly recommended!
