In this exciting third book of the Solomon's Bride series, the Shulamite learns that everything she was running from, and everything she was destined for, were one and the same. Hold on for a wild ride!
I think the types and shadows are accurate. Solomon being the type of Christ. If one understands the bible pretty well, he/she will definitely enjoy this romantic book. I enjoyed the wisdom of Solomon; especially the part he explains the differences between a man and a woman. The world look at those differences and use them to instigate a fight for dominance between the two sexes, of which those differences are meant to compliment each other not to show superiority over the other.
These stories are so beautifully written. The characters have so much depth, you forget it is fiction, though much is based on King Soloman's Song of Songs. There are so many plot twists, and sub-plots to keep you thoroughly interested and entertained. The author did a tremendous job especially with portraying a wise, humble, incredibly devout King Solomon. You will not be disappointed in these books and should read all 5 to get the full impact. Although I mostly read Christian romance, it is rare to find really beautiful poignant books by male authors. I would definitely read other biblical based romance by Mark Ano. Maybe he would consider another biblical pair of lovers he can embark his pen upon soon...as the man has genuine talent!
