BORING! A book with lots of potential but unfortunately I could not get past or should I say, start the second chapter of the second book.

The first book was ok but to me, it wasn't written very well. There were mixed point of views written in 3rd person. It was as if the author wanted u to hear the inner feelings of each character. This could be a good thing but again, the writing fell flat.

The first book was basically the telling of the main character and his whore ways. They talked about a lot of different sex and the interviewing of the girls was stupid. The second book started off of the introduction of the girls that made the game. I made it through the first chapter of Victoria and couldn't take it anymore. I was so bored and tired of reading about how he needs to control his ways but then he doesn't.

What I did read , it was skimmed.

Great idea . Execution not good.

Spoiler alerts! He's ready to settle down and get married, so he has his long time assistant gather a group of women who might be acceptable. Within the week he has some kind of sexual contact with them. It comes down to two women. He decides which one he's going to choose... But, the one he's going to choose decides to remove herself from the running. The other woman does too, because they both believe he and his assistant, Samantha, have a thing for each other. He then decides that he will try a relationship with Samantha! WTH? Minutes before he was going to choose another woman to marry, and he's been a male w#ore the whole week... Gee, I feel the true love! Nope! Not what I consider a HEA, so, no I can't recommend you read it.

I had a feeling I wasn't going to like this series. I think if I would have only read Drake's book then skipped to epilogue maybe I'd have liked it more. I'm not a prude about casual sex but I think what turned me off was everyday with a different woman. It first starts off with Drake thinking he might be ready for something more than an easy lay. Mind you he slept with two girls the first evening. One while at a work function and then left with another lady. So he realizes he might want more but I really think the visions of wild sex was more of what he was thinking about. Samantha his assistant and Robert help weed through the women. I did not like Robert talking about these women. Would he be alright with his wife getting hot and wet thinking of other men? He got a hard on while interviewing the women. Drake goes on a blind date with Rose the night before the contest begins. Of course they have sex Drake seems to have no will power when it comes to women.
The contest begins with 7 ladies. They each get 24 hours with him. Each book is his day with the lady scheduled. He slept with every lady on his day with them except for Scarlett. She was last and by then I think even though she was attracted to him she knew someone else was in love with him.
I didn't like that he would make a reference about a spark between him and Sam but then say "oh well she doesn't want me so off to fuck someone else". Maybe if Sam thought he would be more than a quick fuck she would have tried. Why would she want to jeopardize her career for a man who sleeps with any female he can. Sam was crazy to help with this contest. I guess it was one thing to know they were quick fucks but then with the contest finding a long term person made her realize her feelings. This just wasn't for me. I know it wasn't cheating since they were not in a relationship but I didn't like it. If he had not had sex with 6 of the 7 maybe but he was just too slutty. I couldn't be in the contest. Making out with one girl then being with another. Sometimes I wonder how that kind of man can be faithful.

It's a story about a playboy, who grows up before your very eyes. In the beginning of the book, Drake didn't deserve Sam... but toward the end, after learning more about himself and what he needed, you change your mind. Its a long journey to adult life. Very well written. A definite plot, and story line. 5 stars.

Drake is the epitome of "a one night stand" guy. In fact it's usually wham, bam, now leave. Wildly successfful in business he realizes he realizes that he may need something more. He decides to try and find a wife so he assigns his VP Robert and his PA Samantha the job of finding him a group of possible marriage candidates to pick from. They will stay in his house for a week of fun and games and lots of sex. What can go wrong?

This is a story of a man coming of age emotionally when it comes to women and relationships. What Drake envisioned as a week long orgy becomes everything but. With each date he discovers feelings he's never really had towards woman. Suddenly what he thought would be a snap decision becomes an agonizing choice. Don't worry there is a HEA in his future.
