Lady Six Sky's World Tree is a jewelled White Finder Tree?

This story is clearly less predictable than Book 2, with some major plottwists waiting for you. Some are quite clear in that they're coming, but you may be surprised when they're coming. For the rest, it's a typical Moss book, and there's not much to say about it. Basically, this is a good series, but not one for the history books (see what I did there?). Fine if you want to have a relaxing read, but not if you're looking for something a bit more profound. Good enough for me anyway.

The Best Book Ever!

The Secrets of the Tombs series is simply incredible. I cannot believe how Helen Moss makes history so interesting! I also love the way it's based in the 21st century, it makes it seen just so real, you know.
I admire Helen's books and have read all of them. Adventure island is also a favourite.
Cleo and Ryan are great! They are amazing characters, I hope my books are as successful when I get older! I hope Helen writes some more books, she's amazing!
I strongly recommend this series to everyone.

You must not read this before the first two books or it will spoil the story. I read #2, #1 then #3, which wasn't too bad an order. Fantastic ending to a thrilling teenage archeaology adventure series. [My start date is approx as I forgot to log at the time.]

3rd book in the series. Really good storyline, written for young adults, but no reason why adults can"t enjoy it too. About 2 teenagers who have adventures, whilst on archeological digs, with their parents. Usually involves an artifact. Can't wait to read the next on series, when it's published.

This is the third book in the series but I was able to grasp the gist of the first two books from the references in The Serpent King. Ryan and Cleo are friends, their parents are archeologists and they take them along with them when they go on tomb excavations around the world. Ryan’s father has been kidnapped however and is being held somewhere by gang members in the jungle near their latest camp. The book is a good old fashioned adventure story brought up to the modern day with daring rescues, ancient curses and deception and deceit thrown in for good measure. Very reminiscent of Indiana Jones for a younger audience, it’s an exciting read and the female characters are as brave and clever as the males so it would appeal to both boys and girls - a great read for lovers of quest computer games and would be explorers.

i'm legally obligated to absolutely adore this book, because i won a pre-publication edition of it in a writing competition run by the author when i was like eleven (which spurred me on to even greater heights of pretentious self-congratulation, but hey). i reread it about two years ago, and it still holds up.

upon review i think cleo is directly responsible for a whole ton of my favourite characters being prickly neurodivergent women who hyperfixate on something to the detriment of social skills and like, fun. ryan contributes a lot to my love of guys who support said prickly women in their endeavours. the top-tier elite romance is always a woman who bears strong resemblance to a feral cat x the guy who runs around after her with stars in his eyes.
