蔡瀾 祖籍廣東潮州,出生於新加坡,從小住在戲院樓上,自小受電影熏陶。16歲離開新加坡,到日本留學專攻電影,蔡瀾長期在《壹周刊》及《蘋果日報》撰寫專欄。1980年代起至今出版逾二百本著作,種類包括遊記、人物、食經、笑話、人生哲學等,其中以飲食文章最為讀者所認識;與查良鏞、倪匡、黃霑被稱為「香江四大才子」。最新一輯電視節目《蔡瀾亞洲一樂也》亦正在亞洲電視播放。
