A small story with BIG heart!
This short story will have you riding a river of emotions, quite nearly from the start. I can't remember a book of any length so thoroughly pulling me along with the main character's feelings and thoughts. Get ready for a story that ranges from heart pounding to heart rending, with an amazing insight into one captain's struggle through "Strife" and his honor. Read this book, you will not be disappointed.

A Great In-Between

Having read the first two books, this was a great read while waiting for the 3rd book to be published. I was already familiar with the world and the characters, and I picked up on the setting quickly and where it fit in the overall storyline.

I could not give it 5 stars simply because I believe the short story would have been difficult to follow without having read the books already.

Honor?

I really enjoyed this short story. I was pulled in from the very first page. You will read about valour and honorable warriors and an evil devious king. A lot of story packed into this short. Don't miss out!
