Kathleen McCoy, PhD is a psychotherapist and the award-winning author of a dozen books including ALA's Best Books for Young Adults winner The Teenage Body Book (Random House, 2008) and Understanding Your Teenager's Depression (Perigee, 2005). Dr. McCoy was the columnist for Seventeen's "Sex and Your Body" and she is a former editor of Teen. Dr. McCoy has also written for national publications such as Readers Digest, The New York Times, Family Circle, Mademoiselle, TV Guide and The Journal of Clinical Child Psychology. Dr. McCoy and her husband recently moved from Los Angeles to Florence, Arizona, a small historic town where they live with their four cats Gus, Maggie, SweetPea and Hamish.

This book is really good and educational. Why? let me tell you a little about this book. This book talks about the teenager, THe body and feelings. For example it talks about how a boy becomes a man and a girl becomes a women. It has questions from other readers that are personal and they anwser it. If you are afraid to ask anyone a personal question read this book and you will be awnsered. How it also talks about developing is it gives you graphs and statistics of avarege percents of teens who grow in these certern ages and ways." have to admit this book awsered some questions that i was kind of afraid to ask to people to"

Also i mentioned this book talks about the feelings of a teenager. For example it talks about feelings of depression and what you can do to atleast not feel bad. "this book also helped me learn more about feelings and expressions i dint understand sounds little crazy but ya". If you need some emotional aswers come to this book.

i liked this book because it is educational and will give you results of questions you want to solve.
