Matt and Molly Mouse are serious trick-or-treaters. If a neighbor doesn't have a treat when they come knocking, the two mice deliver their "tricks". After receiving treats and performing tricks on a few neighbors, Matt and Molly try one last house and have a trick played on them!

I love the lift-the-flap element to this book. Kids will enjoy discovering what's behind the bushes. However, I didn't really like the tricks the mice played. They threw flour, tickled, and squirted water on those not offering treats. I think the flour is a historical trick, one I'm glad isn't prevalent anymore. I just wouldn't want my son to think it's ok to bother someone like that. It makes the fun element of trick-or-treating kind of mean.
