Daddy, I'm Sorry: with Kimberly Clark

Rate this book
Kimberly Clark never had the chance to experience the joys of becoming a teenager. Instead, she experienced the viciousness of verbal and physical abuse by a mother succumbing to the powers of a mental illness. In and out of foster homes and juvenile placements, her life begins to spiral downward at an alarming rate. After turning to drugs at the young age of fourteen, she makes a shocking disclosure. Her daddy had molested her. Did he really do it? Was there some other motive behind her confession? Did someone put her up to it? Or, was her daddy to blame for what he got? This book is based upon a true story of child abuse and contains passages that some readers may find disturbing. All names and places have been changed to protect the identities of those involved.

This was a story about drug use. At some point mother had another child mentioned once but never followed on. Got to the point I was skimming the pages but not reading. Would not purchase one of this auyhors books again. Just as well it only cost 99p.

Not one i particularly liked

I think I was expecting more of the "usual" stories where they are beaten instead of loved but that is my opinion.
