Colin Laird is seriously worried about the state of the world. Disasters are happening all around him, and he decides to acquire a disaster bag filled with all the equipment he might need in an emergency. Only then does he begin to feel safe, but a terrorist slips a bomb into his bag.

About the author

David McKee was a British writer and illustrator, chiefly of children's books and animations. He also used the pseudonym Violet Easton. He is frequently referenced as David (John) McKee. He has been commended for his gentle, playful but insightful stories.

For his contribution as a children's illustrator he was UK nominee for the biennial, international Hans Christian Andersen Award in 2006.

this captured my attention quickly as this book gets straight into the action and i found it extremly entertaining.
