This book is a lovely photo album of images both of ancient structures and modern people (c1977) in Ecuador, Boliva, Chile and Peru. The introduction to the book gives an overview of Inca history (it was only a short lived empire of around 100 years) The book has a number of lovely, clear images of ancient ruins with a focus on the beautiful and even now astonishing Inca stonework and a lot of photos of their modern descendants, principally at festival or religious events. If you are looking for a book of well taken photos of south America with an emphasis on the Inca legacy then this book is worth getting.
