Veteran actor Jason Carlisle didn’t expect to find more than friends and a new job on the set of a filming miniseries. He did get friends—but he also caught the eye of one of the youngest actors, beautiful Beau Bellamy. Jason has no idea why Beau is so interested, but it sets him to thinking. For his part, Beau is infatuated from the start, and when Jason doesn’t make a move, he decides he’ll have to, or he’ll miss an opportunity he never expected.
Rhianne Aile has an unhealthy relationship with her computer, iced tea, and chocolate. Growing up, she split her time between Oklahoma and Chicago, making her equally fond of horses, skyscrapers, cowboys, and men in well-tailored suits. Facilitating retreats for women and authors keeps her traveling enough to stay happy.
This story was just too short to do justice to the development of a new relationship. Sometimes I’m pleasantly surprised in these cases, but not so here. It did, however, tick off a couple of categories in my reading challenge, so it gets at least a couple of stars for that!
DNF made it through 25.8% before deciding it wasn't worth my time. honestly very poor writing style. is this a short story? bad format? two writers who can't meld the story?
