Dani Berger and Liz Chirac have new charter guests aboard the yacht Vengeance. Blaine and Mindy Wilkes booked the charter to make an adventure travel video for their TV series. Upon arrival, they confess to be paparazzi in pursuit of a movie star named Kev Strong, as well.
Discovering that Dani has an entrée to Strong, the guests encourage her to see him. Spurred on by Liz, Dani agrees. She meets him for lunch to provide a photo opportunity for her guests. For 15 years, they lived aboard their boat full-time, cruising the East Coast and the islands. They spent most of that time exploring the Eastern Caribbean. Dougherty is well acquainted with the islands and their people. The characters and locations in his novels reflect his experience.

Besides the Bluewater Thrillers and the Connie Barrera Thrillers, he wrote The Redemption of Becky Jones, a psycho-thriller, and The Lost Tourist Franchise, a short story about one of the characters from Deception in Savannah.
He has also written two non-fiction books. Life's a Ditch is the story of how he and his wife moved aboard their sailboat, Play Actor, and their adventures along the east coast of the U.S. Dungda de Islan' relates their experiences while cruising the Caribbean.

Mysterious
Dani has been offered to play a part in a play that could make her a star. As she is debating on whether or not to proceed with the audition, she learns many new things about her chartered quests.

never-ending adventure
Nonstop, intrigue and adventures on the high seas is an enthralling story. Attention to detail on sailing is remarkable almost put you there on site.

This is such a great series
I love the characters. The flow of the book is fast, so be forewarned that it's hard to put down. Dani and Liz are at it again with adventure, mystery, and fun.

This was a great mystery/adventure book. I was pulled in from the first chapter and found it hard to put down. The characters are great, and the storyline keeps up a good pace so it doesn't get dull or boring. I highly recommend this book.

Another engaging story from the masterful pen of CLR Dougherty. This is the 11th installment of the Bluewater Thrillers, and believe me, there is no indication of the drama, the excitement, the tension, the adventure slowing down! In the beginning, Dani shows an odd side in trying to become more "Flirty", but the climax of the book shows her to be as tough and brutal as ever. It was also good to see the return of a secondary character, Marie Delacroix, who is Dani's alter ego when need be.
Anyone who likes a good old fashioned adventure thriller needs to read these books. You won't be sorry!
