The moral of the musical is pro pro-death. It makes the case that when life is prolonged to an eternity, it becomes a stagnant redundancy. It's like being stuck on a boat that's anchored in the middle of a pond. Stay away from this if you're pro pro-life, for extended living, or believe that as a general rule that it's simply great to be alive. The message here is not for you. It'll certainly suck the life out of you and bring you down so much.

I love Tuck. It's a great musical, and I'm super excited to be working on it! I read this book when I was a kid, so I don't remember the original all that well, but I felt like it was a great story, and the songs were amazing!

As one who has read the book, I really miss the part where they have to break Mae out of jail. :(
