This is a nice Italian/English-English/Italian dictionary, for sure, but it is not pocket sized; in fact it was too big to reasonably fit in my purse. Granted my purse is not large, but the dictionary took up over half of it; the mini water bottle and my camera took precedence, so sadly I did without a dictionary during my week in Tuscany and Umbria. It stayed in the rented facility along with my suitcase and other things I brought but didn't actually use. I could have used it a time or two.

This would be fine for a backpack, probably, and maybe for a large purse, but I needed a dictionary the size of a Gideon's New Testament with Psalms & Proverbs or suchlike. I'll look a little harder next time.

works great for me as I now speak only a little Italian. I have good Italian friends (one who is a blogger in Italian - independent writer) and very much like to stay in touch with them. I find that this dictionary serves me best.
