Pretty good introduction, especially when used with the audio accompaniment. Some mistakes in the text, which— if you think about it —is probably the worst thing you can do if you're presenting yourself as a language authority.

Accelerated learning

An excellent book for intermediate students to learn vocabulary and start independent reading. The summaries after each chapter and comprehension questions facilitate learning and understanding.

I actually had great expectations about this book however after I read the first chapter I was totally disappointed. The chapters were boring also the book have questions at the end of the stories so you can answer them however the correct answers were right after the questions, you can easily cheat because you can see them right there, it should be at the end of the book. I only learned a few words from the book. Don’t waste your, it is not worth it.

For a beginning learner this stories really are good. They are easy enough that you can read them without being overly confused and they aren't boring. The first one is the least interesting so stick with it! The English summaries at the end of each chapter are often awkwardly written (clearly by a non native English speaker) but other than that they're good.

This definitely was a good idea to improve my French reading skill. The several stories made me boost my vocabulary "our achievements are the product of a slow process of learning."
