Absolute garbage. Only bought this book because it shares the same title as the REAL "Cracking the Coding Interview" by Gayle Laakmann McDowell.

It's full of silly, easy multiple-choice questions about the Java language that aren't really the type of questions that are ever asked in a programming interview (at least, not in the interviews that I've ever been to).

Aside from the content, the typesetting is appalling - it looks like someone's printed out a Word document full of badly-written Java code and stuffed it into a book.

Really, don't bother. Do not buy.

Good, not only for people wanting to pass the crazy high-pressure coding interviews, but also for people who just want a deeper understanding of algorithms.
