Jeff Mermelstein: Sidewalk

Rate this book
In this publication, the author leads us on a photographic journey through the streets of his New York. We confront characters who seem hyper-real, wandering the streets as if in a dream, and come across incidents which seem totally surreal, such as a smoking shoe, a burnt-out diner and a sidewalk that looks as if it has flowed with blood.

An amazing and hilarious book of street photography. Mermelstein does in one frame what Hollywood directors fail to do in an hour and a half with vast budgets. He is a magician with his camera and has taken the noble art of street photography to another level.
