Weird book, there are three or four versions, different publishers, the copy my uni library has is Brassey's Maxwell Macmillan with total of 214 pages (78/136). Author seems to have taken a GAO report, added his own samizdat commentary supported by cherry-picked secondary sources to bolster his negative, outdated opinion. Twenty-some years later, it has some good primary source documents but that is all I found useful.

Excellent resource for anyone interested in the issue of gays in the military, "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" or LGBT queer history.
