This dictionary of names is based on the names that were popular around the early 2000's when I produced my boy, Fabian, which is listed first in the F section and Julia gives details of its origins (Roman Emperor Fabius, The Fabian Society) and it's popularity now as both a boy's and a girls, Fabienne, name. It's unusual but not too unusual, we've met plenty of Fabian's in the past 17 years and hope to meet more! The dictionary is very handy in giving lists of popular names which is invaluable when choosing a name, a more difficult task than I ever imagined. Altogether a great buy.
