I hope they read these documents at the Vatican. Starting with the Medellin Declaration of 1968 outlining the Church's "preferential option for the poor", the Catholic Church has committed itself to the redemption of this world. The Kingdom of Earth must reflect and implement the justice of the Kingdom of God. Economic equality, justice for women, non-violent resistance to "institutionalized discrimination", to each family employment and a house; these are the values the Church upholds. If this be heresy, Catholics are heretics. These documents are official positions, not the work of wayward priests.
