“My issue wasn’t that I didn’t know my purpose. I knew my purpose. I just didn’t understand how I was going to get there in this small cubical doing data entry work at a dead end job in business casual clothes. “ – Heather Lindsey We live in a society that makes it easy to compare your life to everyone else’s social media “highlight” reels. If you feel “behind,” I have written this book to remind you that you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. You have God-given purpose. You have a plan. You don’t need to copy or imitate anyone but Jesus Christ! He has assigned you with a specific purpose, and called you to solve a problem on this earth, for this generation! If you’ve struggled greatly with your purpose, Heather Lindsey can relate to you as she shares her years of living purposeless without Jesus, to becoming a first generation pastor, and best selling author to a worldwide ministry. She candidly shares her peaks, pitfalls, and what she has learned along the way as the Lord has revealed His purpose to her. If you’ve ever struggled with identifying, being afraid of, or walking in your purpose, this book is for you. The Purpose Room seeks to create a comfortable atmosphere for you to be honest about your talents, gifts, or insecurities, in order to confidently walk the path God has called you to. Regardless of where you are in life, The Purpose Room will help you to discover, accomplish and birth your God-given purpose.

Purposefully Planning

This is an awesome book for anyone in need of a guided word from a person who knows that path towards your God given purpose is tough at times but so worth it. It was encouraging to read and through prayer I am motivated to do more for the Kingdom

There were some good nuggets. It was the first book I read by the author. Could relate to many aspects. Overall, while it didn't present new information (which is difficult to do anyway in today's saturated market), it was an encouraging read.

It was a good read overall and I appreciate Heather’s input. It seems a little all over the place with her thoughts and could have been structured better and more organized, but she gets the point across to the reader.

What a great book. Thank you Heather Lindsey for your obedience in writing this book. It has impacted me in more ways than I could count. It felt like it was written for me for this season of my life. Thank you for being a loving sister for most of us. God bless you!

Quick and easy read. It's one of those books where you'll pick it up, read about 3 chapters and then put down for a week or so. Repeat. Nothing super profound but you can definitely glean some wisdom out of this book.

This book spoke so much truth to me and was so helpful. It led me closer to God and encouraged me to draw near to Him. There is 1 point in the book where the author, Heather Lindsey, says that if I have been reading the book more than spending time with God, I need to put the book down and go spend time with God. I think that God wanted me to read that sentence in that moment so that I could go to Him. This book challenged me, and was full of wisdom and good advice. I took some notes to remember some good points made in here. I always love Heather Lindsey's books. Good read.

Quick read. This is her most professional, well organized book to date (and I've read them all). I enjoyed the personal anecdotes and how they related to the content of the book. Nothing profound, but an overall nice read. I probably would not read it again, but I would recommend it to women who are confused about what their calling is.

Great Book

This book was a great tool to help me learn my purpose. Heather talks to you on a level anyone can understand and relate to. If you watch her YouTube channel you'll enjoy her books as well. I really enjoyed this book, and I liked that it was a quick read. I'm not the type to read a book daily, but so it only took me 3 days to read it. 5 stars all the way.
