She writes YA (Young Adult Fiction) and Children's Books with the notion to educate and entertain the youth. She is a native of Arkansas, and lives with her daughter, who is the inspiration behind all her work.
LaQueisha obtained a certificate in Early Childhood Education from Pen Foster College in Arizona. She has taken several course under Early Childhood Education from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and SouthEast Arkansas College.
She began reading to her daughter in the womb, and playing homemade games with letter recognition as early as 8 months old. By the time her daughter was 1 years-old, she was reading sight words and writing her first and last name with Uppercase first letter.
LaQueisha begin as early as 6 months old teaching her daughter how to make patterns through play using bottle tops, milk jug tops, and any other tops that were of various colors. Her daughter was able to make her own patterns using colors, sizes, and shapes. She would also use old cereal boxes cutting the front off, and cutting it into zig zag pieces for her daughter use as puzzles.
