Cultural Chameleons and Tall Poppies: How We Really Live & Work With Culture

Rate this book
What if your experience with cultures actually helped you evolve as a human being? What if there was no such thing as any culture being right or wrong?

Cultural Chameleons and Tall Poppies offers a new and more humane way of looking at culture. It takes us on a journey that challenges us to redefine how we see culture and how we see ourselves. In this book, you will learn more about why we adapt; how we react to different cultures and how we can accept cultural differences, even when we don't agree with them. Most of all, you will learn how adopting new cultural beliefs and values can help us become global citizens.

This is a good read for people who are thinking about or are already living in a foreign culture. It’s also good for intercultural trainers/consultants to get a clear picture of the various ways people adapt and/or integrate (or not) into a different culture. Easy to read and has lots of references for further reading.
