Despite a painful past filled with tragedy and heartbreak, Amy Masters picks up the pieces of her life and puts the past behind her. Moving on, she finds a new job she’s passionate about, friends she loves, and a new niece that she adores.
Lance Underwood has dedicated his life to being a small town detective. He’s loyal to a fault, and will do just about anything to help his friends. He is happy with his life, but he has one regret…a regret so deep he can’t seem to move past it.
When fate throws Lance and Amy into each other’s path, they can’t deny the all-consuming attraction between them, but nothing in life comes easy.
When women start being found, they all have one thing in common; they all resemble Amy. Lance starts a race against time to catch a monster before the one person he cares most for is taken from him.
Are they both strong enough to survive and share a long life together, or will time run out before that life can ever begin?

We met Lance and Amy in Scars from Within. Even with their characters being supporting characters, I found myself feeling how strong they were, dying to know more about them, and what happens between them.

Lance and Amy are thrown together by circumstances beyond their control....well, beyond HER control that is. Will their friendship turn into more? Can they conquer the demons of their pasts to have a chance to mend their "Broken Dreams"?

"Everything happens for a reason" or so the old saying goes, or to quote another old cliche: "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger", well it is easy to find happiness when everything is going perfectly....but what happens when the Devil comes knocking?

Mrs. Princeton weaves a tale so full of amazing characters, rich dialog, and an intense story to create a book that had my attention from the first page until well after I had finished it. The story and character have stayed with me. I went through the full range of emotions, happiness, sadness, ugly crying, enough anger my poor Kindle was in danger of hitting a wall, surprise and even grief. Don't even get me started on the sex scenes....omg HOT!!! I most definitely recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

Elizabeth Princeton delivers a story that has all the emotions running from page to page. Broken Dreams gives you a look into the past of Lance and Amy that can break your heart. The thing is where there is a broken heart there is room to heal. Elizabeth Princeton will take you down a path that will have you loving and cheering for Lance and Amy. We know things happen for a reason and it is what we do with it that really matters. I enjoy the conversations between these characters. There is heat, sass, love and sadness. It is nice to know that when those emotions are flowing that there is someone that will be there for you in good times and the bad. My final thought for this read is dreams can be broken but just like a broken heart they can be mended. Find your dream follow it and believe that it will come true. Be the one that makes sure that your dreams are whole and never become Broken Dreams. One-Click for a great read!

So good!

I loved reading Amy and Lance's story. You could feel the love the two had for each other pour from the page. After everything Amy goes through, Lance never gives up on her and their relationship. I love what a great guy Lance is and the emotion we get to see from him. Great story!!! Can't wait for the next one in the series.
