Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it.
It is a lesson Bill is learning now that his beautiful wife Terri is involved with other men. Even more dangerous for Bill is not being quite sure what he really wants, nor what Terri really needs. But communication is emotionally difficult and psychologically fraught, and coming to some conclusion will require both Bill and Terri to confront uncomfortable truths.
As they grapple with their desires and fears, their relationship will be tested like never before. Will their pain make their love stronger? Or tear them apart?
I am your typical family man with a wife and kids and an overactive imagination. I am longtime reader and author of erotic fiction.
I write in genres that I find exciting and arousing. Most of my stories are in the naughty wife, wife-watching genre, though occasionally I venture into other subject matter.

Ben Boswell is one of my favorite writers of this genre. Having said that, buying this book was kind of like driving slow past a car wreck. I just had to see how everything ended. Everything I hated about these characters is intentional by the author. The book is well written as usual and the sex scenes are HOT! Just for me personally, I despised the characters. I have hated Terri throughout the series and Bill's confusion for me was almost insurmountable. These two characters are the complete opposite of couples who would want to embark on a relationship like this. The writer pulls off what he intended to do, but for me it was to hard to read. This is in no way a bad review, like I said it is really well written. If I ever met these two in a bar I would run away as fast as I could. Unless I had been drinking and Terri hit on me....lol
This is the third book in the Terri trilogy and Ben Boswell kept the best to last. Told from the husband’s point of view, it is packed with plenty of action, both in and out of the bedroom. While juggling a family and work life Terri continues to find time to play with other men. Her husband Bill is a man totally conflicted, loving the wanton side of his wife, yet fearing that it will end with her eventually leaving him.
Ben Boswell perfectly captures the emotions of the conflicted husband, trapped in a spiral from which there appears no escape. He is unsure of how to deal with his emotions and unsure how to deal with his increasingly wayward wife. As the book progresses (at a pretty fast pace) we learn a little more about their chequered back story, that has conspired to shape each of their personalities. Terri pushes at the boundaries time and time again, the reader is never quite sure if is she enjoying her husbands torment or if she hoping he will reign her in?
The pace of the book is fast and there is no let up in the action, as Terri seeks to quench her almost insatiable appetite for sex. The author uses great skill in managing to end the book at an acceptable conclusion, no mean feat given all the action that had gone on previously. I had no hesitation in awarding “Taming Terri” book five stars and recommend it unreservedly.
Very well written erotica with intriguing evaluation of psychological factors and motivations...Although
I must admit that the depth of the kinky depravity of the very base sexual interactions were out of my comfort zone. It is however, like a train wreck. One can't look away,no matter how repulsive. And in the same vein, much of it is arousing ,even if you don't want it to be...kind of like Bills viewpoint throughout .The delving into the past to determine what instigated their sexual deviations was interesting and Ben actually is a more talented writer than he gives himself credit and he takes pride in editing..more so than many other erotica authors out there. As a couple their mutual manipulations along with the extreme kink are a bit much for this female reader who relies
more on emotional connection and romance with dark overtones and a non con cherry on top. I must say however that in the ending was satisfactory for these characters. I would encourage Ben to branch out into a bit more mainstream erotic romance or other.Think the talent is there..he might surprise himself.
While I enjoyed the series, this book fell a little flat for me. I get the angst and conflict is the major attraction to this genre. But I didn't think the author found the right balance between moving the story forward and letting experience the cuck's never-ending internal struggles. I thought the series held a promise to jump into the cuckold psychology, and at times it did, but I feel it missed its mark.
This book centers around Bill's love-hate feels between Terri's extramarital sexual escapades and his feelings of humiliation and self-doubt. A continuation from book two. This leads to some hot erotic scenes; unfortunately, these scenes seemed forced (no pun intended). We learned more about Terri, in this book, but it wasn't very telling and it left me wanting more. In the end, the book feels a little rushed and only mildly plausible given the book and half book leading up to it.
I like the 'Deleted Scene' chapter at the end of the book. While I liked the book being written entirely from Bill's perspective, the deleted scene makes me wonder with this book would have been stronger had it been written from a his/her perspective or entirely from Terri's point of view.
This really delved into the history Terri experienced with her husband, and the unique influence their kink has had on the egos and marriage. It never ultimately was put to bed, so to speak.
I’m not sure any taming occurred here.more discovery for who they both are Credit to the Author this series had everything in it and parts of me wish she had went even harder.the sex was described perfectly.there was anger ,anxiety, lust ,craving, pain, excitement and more.I think they both wanted to control the narrative but once you’ve reached the decision to share then all other rules don’t apply.that would be like you can kiss but no tongue.then why kiss.anyway I can see why the author loved Terri.s character, given the chance she wanted to be a wife but remain close to who she really is .A fiery submissive who loves the excitement and fix of pleasing men.but still wanted that married people life also. Awesome read 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ben was right in the beginning I did not like this book, seeing Bill go through so much was difficult and seeing Terri torment him. It was overall a great story and a hot trilogy to read. Solid ending as well. I look forward to reading more of Ben Boswell’s books.
Very erotic and public sometimes. Actually a lot of the time. I would have preferred a different ending though but it’s not book, so I can live with it. Spoiler alert….dont read further if you don’t want to know the books ending…my ending would have been that they quit while they were ahead. Each fulfilled and having killed their demons, they would now be free from it all.
Very realstic. Very detailed and slow burner. I loved the story. I cant wait for an after story. What happenef when they had that deep discovery and came back home Read the 3 boks in 4 days... aoww
This is a story about a loving, married couple who communicate.
They each have events in their past that push them to be excited by a kink. They are ‘complimentary’ to each others fantasies.
Volume one, explores the relationship and how they set about exploring their kinks. It is an excellent stand-alone. The conflict resolves to a loving ending.
Volume two is where they go off the rails. His pain and her attitude toward it, push them further apart.
Volume three is the least realistic. How they Resolve their games becomes very exciting, but this is a study on porn. It’s very erotic but the reality is no longer here.
There are several times in this set, that either the wife, recognizing what she’s doing to hubby, would try to empathize,.. She doesn’t, she just torments him further. Bill, recognizes that his relationship with her is circling the drain and should pull the plug. Especially when she flies to the coast and leaves her rings behind. After all the lovers, and the tormenting, even a man as twisted as he’s become, would have threatened to burn it all down. Using the evidence she and lovers have provided, to threaten to end everything, and take away the kids.
The relationship becomes a sham and the ending is a farce.
Overall, it’s a very good story. An enormous amount of heat, but the ‘love’ and ‘honesty’ becomes a joke.
It becomes porn, not an erotic story. Your respect for the couple starts to degrade with Brian in Volume 2. Both relinquish control to the other. By doing this they absolve themselves of the consequences. They deflect it to the other spouse. I think this series might have been better, with clearer understanding about the motives if it had been told from both Points of view. With just Bill's it leaves too much of Terri unanswered.
The sex is excellent, as is the choreography. The writing is superb, It's nearly impossible to put down. My disappointment is in the plot as it starts to fall apart as it expands in volume 2. It does not recover.
