Poetry. The setting of ICEMAN is the Battle of the Atlantic, the most prolonged and complex battle in the history of naval warfare. Millett's ICEMAN completes a trilogy with Tail Arse Charlie and View from the Turret; which deal with the air war against Germany during World War II. These are absolutely amazing poems, written with much richness of style, theme, and passion. Care for those mates really comes through and I felt excited as I seldom am these days by any poems I read -- Robert Peters, University of California, Irvine.

One of the best poetic evocations of WWII by a fantastic poet who lived it.
