Poised for partnership is a detailed how-to book on transitioning from a senior member of a firm or consultancy to the partner level. The planning and timeframe is quite extensive and Townsend outlines the strategy, the development of plans and how to engage the right people in order to be successful.
Throughout the book there are many quotes, tips, points, actions and resources on what to do and how to do it. The book is very practical and includes additional resources that you can utilise as part of your journey to partner. For example a Career Kit Bag and Partner Track Self-Assessment Tool is referred to via a URL
