Even if outdated, I was hoping for a scientific viewpoint of the origin of languages instead all this was was a Christian trying to prove the Biblical account by comparing Hinduism to the Bible; and not necessarily proving Hinduism as being true but by using Hinduism and parts of Asia to prove the Bible true. Even minutely the author uses plant-life, and animals to do this; and uses geographic features to do it, as well. The 'science' in this book is the back burner to the Christian viewpoint. Take it with a grain of salt.
