I'm giving you this five stars because of the things I learned in the book. It was well written. I don't know that he could've made it across the path with the canoe but you know sometimes a good shot of adrenaline will make you do things you could never imagine. And he who knows that it is not based on the grain of truth. It is obvious that the author knows what it's like to take a canoe trip. I enjoyed learning and the best thing I will take away from this is stop which Think, organize, plan. That is a good thing to remember in an emergency. This is a good read for any age.
