I did not like it at all - its mindset is focused on his master, using traditional tools and schemas without deeper understanding to the core reasons and do not try to explain most of underlaying principals.
Just put Chinatown's plastic chimes, signs, dolls, flowers, or even plastic fruit all around you, and you are done.
Only good thing is an emphasis on feelings from the space, creator's intentions, and using gestures, prayer, and meditation to fortify any change.

This book had a slightly different take on Feng Shui than most books that I've encountered before, dealing with a specific "sect" of Feng Shui that occasionally clashes with traditional Feng Shui. The book said that it could be read straight through or used as more of a reference book, looking up specific issues. Read straight through, it was highly repetitive. The book was unique in the amount of emphasis placed on visualization, something usually touched lightly in the form of "intent" in other books I've read.
The book was well-organized but lacked "real-life" examples that help give a lively quality to other Feng Shui books. It also failed to take modern life and Western aesthetics into account, most of the time. The cures were almost all rather glaringly "Feng Shui" cures, items that would be very noticeable in most Western homes and offices. The book did include a nice section on office/business Feng Shui but didn't take cubicles or monetary/space restrictions into account
