This was rather sordid and distasteful to me. The heroine met a guy when she was 20 and lost her virginity in a one night stand. Fast forward over 5 years later when she sees his face in a magazine titled "Alaska's Singles". She writes to the guy (Adam) and sends her photo. He writes her back and it is obvious he doesn't remember her. He sent her a plane ticket and she flew to Alaska and found that he had a twin. The other twin (Alex) is to be married in 2 days. She tells them that one of them is her son's father and asks which one it was. Neither answer and she becomes ill and rushes to bathroom to puke. While she is in there heaving the two brothers have a confab and decide to deceive her. Alex is the baby daddy but wants nothing to do with her or his son. He wants to keep this news a secret from her and his fiance. Adam, the uncle, agrees and later lies to h telling her that he was drunk and couldn't remember much but that he remembered that she was a virgin. Towards the end of the book she gets intimate with Adam and realizes that he was not the man she had been with before.
