Rate this book
This book is for the creative who doesn’t believe anyone will ever read your story. Indie publishing is a mystery to you, and you don't know where to begin, regardless of the story bursting in your veins. There are thousands of stories that rival those on the bestseller list that have yet to be voiced — stories that are waiting for you to give them life. You don't have to wait for the gatekeepers anymore. you will not find any promises of bestseller secrets or how to get rich quick here. Story means more to me than that, and if I wager correctly, I imagine it means more to you too. It might even be why you haven’t written your own story yet. Let me say we need what you have to say. We need the stories of people walking through their world, whatever that world looks like. The time for your book is now. There is no excuse. You know this — you feel it in your bones. That's what this book is for — that's why I wrote it.Ready to begin?

This book is so packed with practical information, it is a reference book for those who want to publish but don't know how to go about it. Ramirez writes from the heart, and is both knowledgeable and passionate. With excellent pauses for reflection and practical to-dos, the Indie author will find themselves returning to this for help with scheduling, editing, book launches, and much more.

Personal and practical advice

In a clear and conversational tone that made the material accessible, elora goes over the majority of -- if not ALL of -- the things beginning writers should know. I'd go so far as to say there's a good chunk of the book that even experienced writers would benefit from learning or refreshing. Definitely one of the best process and craft books I've read in recent months.
