Violet is a shy, introverted woman who hides behind her red hair and freckles. Xander is a strong, driven businessman who has no desire for romance. Find Me in Heaven is a beautifully written love story of two souls destined to be together regardless the obstacles. Indeed, crafted with delicate care for humor and realism that so many can relate. As each part unfolds the visual images, the author writes are painted upon the windows of your mind. Crying tears of joy and heartbreaking sadness with each scene digested, only wanting for the two lovers to triumph in the end. When you read this book, it will be as though the writer is beside you as a dear friend telling you the story, giving all the little details in such jovial ways.
Violet (our beloved female lead) is an incredible creature of delicate proportion that all can relate to her vulnerability and self-doubt. What drives the discovery of her true beauty is experienced by the reader in the most tender and endearing way that you cannot help, but cry tears of loving joy for this new and dear friend that you want to protect from any harm. The catalyst which propels Part 2 was unexpected as I thought it would be at the hands of a particular character that seemed led to, but no!
Once we arrive in Part 2, the descriptive details given to illustrate the incredible sights were perfectly presented, not wordy and without leaving you to draw your own conclusion. Creating new worlds is a fascinating with all the characters and their personalities in rich detail, but it appears effortless by the author.
Xander (the male lead) having so much to overcome, is written with the love all women wish to know their mate possesses. Not wanting to spoil one thing from this work of art, I will only say the ending having been written with superb skill, leaves room to dream of the possibilities awaiting Xander and Violet.

WOW!! What can I say and where do I start... This book gave me the feels in so many ways. This book was so beautifully written, I feel like Kris Johnston went inside my heart and pulled out every feeling that I had for the loss of my brother. This story was so REAL to me and my family in so many ways. I lost my baby brother to Cancer almost 15 years ago, and the things that have happen since his passing I feel that Kris captured in her book. I always feek the presents of my brother, and I believe so does my son who was named after his Uncle. My son was born 9 years ago, and though he never had the chance to meet his Uncle... Everyday I feel his presence in our life. My son will say or do something his Uncle us to say or do and noone has mentioned this to my son, so for that fact I know he is still with us living through my son. I'm so Thankful for this book and how it brought so many special memory's back to me and how I pray that he is living the glorious life so well displayed in the story. Xander promised to always Love Violet, and Find her no matter the obstacles that were put in front of him. I know that one day I will see my brother again, and it warms my heart that he is his nephews guardian angel. Thank You Author Kris Johnston for showing us a Love so Godly and Pure.

A beautifully sweet and endearing love story about soulmates that makes me appreciate even more the fact that I have been with my soulmate for years. I don't want to spoil the story, but this is a must-read that is uplifting, charming, and overall powerful with regards to love and the afterlife. This is a definite must-read for anyone who has lost someone and needs some inspiration, hope, and positivity.

I can say honestly that this book hit home for me on Many levels. I lost my soulmate three years ago so this story made me feel enlightened to say the least.
The author weaved a romantic and compelling plot that is far from predictable yet easy to follow.
The beauty of the heaven she created will stay with me a long time! The imagination and dedication the writer had is obvious in every line and free-falls you right into her world.
The bond between Violet and Xander is endearing and passionate but most of all steadfast. It's a pure love that isn't based on lust but a soul tie that brings them PERFECT chemistry.
The message of hope and love after life in this tale is emotional and uplifting. This story is like a breath of fresh air! I think I needed this book.
This is definitely a five star read that will entertain you and believe me, the end is mind blowingly epic!

Find Me In Heaven, the second book by Kris Johnston, is a unique story that doesn't fit the standard genre labelings.
Johnston creates a storyline based on two lonely characters, Violet Corwin and Xander Paul.
Both Violet and Paul are caring souls that destiny brings together through an online site that neither even knew existed.
However, tragedy strikes taking both of their lives. But this is not the end. For in Heaven, although they face many obstacles, they have a chance at finding their Happily Eternal After.
Johnston has created a story that is different from the mainstream. I found myself, as the story comes together, wanting both of these compassionate characters to find their happily eternal after.
This book is very unique, and will appeal to those who enjoy fantasy type genres. Although it tends to move at a slower pace, it all comes together at the end.

Very interesting read, the author has created an unusual love story that is going to take readers on quite the ride. Meet Violet Corwin and Xander Paul, two people who find each other through an on-line dating service, The story twists and turns after the two finally take the plunge and meet in person. The author did a great job with an imaginative story that readers of romance, supernatural and just plain fun are going to love. This is the first book I have read by this author but I don't think it will be the last,

Soul mates are soul mates, nothing can keep the apart, not miles, or insecurities, and certainly not death. Violet and Xander were always meant to be together, and their guardians made sure it was going to happen sooner rather than later. Their interference however caused a ripple of events here on Earth and in Heaven that leads Xander on a quest to find his one and only. His perseverance through the many obstacles he faces is to be commended. .
While reading this, I felt a little long lost faith return. Having recently lost someone close to me, it made me want to believe again of guardian angels, The Heavens,and what happens when our time here on earth is through. I think we all want to believe and have our own vision of what our version of the afterlife would be. This author beautifully described Heaven as I would like to think of it. For me this book flowed easily and had me turning pages. 4.5 Stars!!!

The tale that K. Johnston spins draws the reader in from the first moment the protagonist speaks, I fell for Violet. In so many aspects she is me, shy & introverted. Her hesitant heart and adventurous spark make her real and adorable. I turned each page trying to fall further into the story. By the end of it, I had a major book hangover and it was so worth it. I'd strongly recommend this book to all my friends. A paranormal romance that can make a reader laugh, cry, and continuously be on the edge of suspense.

The basic story is about a 27-year-old, introvert, and bohemian clothing store manager named Violet Corwin, who is set up to meet her soul mate, Xander Paul, a successful architect and business owner, who has been betrayed by a previous girlfriend. They meet through an online dating service arranged by their guardian angels. However, a tragic accident ends their lives before they really get a chance to get started, but Xander makes a promise to Violet that he will find her in Heaven. The plot undergoes twists and turns that make for an interesting and fun read.
Find Me in Heaven, while inspirational, is not preachy in its format. The characters are well developed and likable. The story flows from beginning to end, and is a fast-paced, enjoyable read. Johnston's imagination is vivid in her description of the settings and inhabitants, and the magic that takes place on the pages finds a way to the heart in this fairytale romance.

This is a sweet alternative look at romance as four guardian angels interfere to bring a couple together via 'on-line' dating.
Violet is shy and reserved, lacking in self confidence. Xander is old fashioned, has been hurt in love before and is reluctant to let anyone into his life again.
The first half of the book shows their relationship slowly grow and develop into something special, Violet growing in confidence and Xander opening his heart.
The second half of the book is very different, showing the struggle of them finding their way back to one another, against all odds, without the assistance of their angels.
I really enjoyed this, gentle and sweet with a HEA, perfect easy read.

A love story exhibiting the strength of soul mates as they are torn apart and brought back together more than once. Every time I thought I had figured out what was going to happen there was another turn. I'd like to elaborate, but don't want to ruin the book for anyone else. Definitely a "must read" - heartwarming to say the very least. This book could be a stand alone, but I would love to see a follow up that pulls some of these twists and turns forward -there are definite possibilities. Find Me in Heaven is a well written book that kept my attention from the very beginning. Well done!!!

A story that is unorthodox in its setting and development which intrigues the reader to continue forward and follow the twists and turns in the plot. I enjoyed every syllable and continue to be fascinated by the mind of Kris Johnston.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect going in to read this story as the author makes it clear in the blurb that both the main characters die! I was thinking to myself - "surely, they don't actually die..." I was thinking it was more a metaphorical reference more than anything else but Kris Johnston is an author who is bravely prepared to go where others wouldn't dare.
I absolutely loved this tender tale of love beyond boundaries - any sort of boundaries. The characters of Violet and Xander are beguiling and I have to admit to being in shock at their deaths - because even though I knew they were coming I still didn't expect it!
You're probably thinking once they have died and gone to heaven that a fairly straightforward story follows of them being reunited and living happily ever after - WRONG! Things aren't so simple in Heaven... I particularly enjoyed Xander's journey.

Find Me In Heaven by Kris Johnston is a heart melting read. The writer's superb talent in creating this masterpiece is beyond amazing. A phenomenal romance tale unlike any other. Find Me In Heaven is about two soul mates connecting with the help of their angels. But once they meet, fate takes them apart and their struggles to find each other again, will be tough but not impossible. Love is everlasting. Inside this beautifully woven yet an inspirational story, we see that love can break all barriers even in death it can last forever. True love doesn't break. The love found and created by the two main characters is something that will sweep readers up into Heaven. Emotionally the best novel I have read in a while. Once this book is opened, readers will forever be changed. Beware it will suck readers inside faster than they can blink...charming, engaging, and highly entertaining. Overall, I highly recommend this title to readers everywhere.

It was a steadily enticing read that offers an inspirational spin on love and how one can find it in the most obscure ways--being found in the Heaven we all hear so much about. This descriptive read offers lots of fluff and sweet, delivers a genuinely unique tale of love and finding one another. It brings both smiles and tears to your eyes in equal parts, and offers those of us struggling to figure out whether or not we'll ever see our loved ones again, even when death has taken us, hope and a new perspective on what might be.
After reading this, you will be inspired to look at your partner differently, and for those that do not have one, seek to look for something that feels just as connected. Love should be easy, but it never is. However, fate will draw them together.

Loving every word
Just one of the greatest, sweetest love stories I've had the pure pleasure of reading! I fell in love with the character's right away! I read it in one sitting, couldn't put it down and its 3 am! Keep up the good work, your really fantastic!

February 3, 2017Very cute book. To fall in love once is amazing. To be able to experience it a second time with your true love is beyond anything imaginable. Find Me In Heaven takes us on that journey - the one that is near impossible. Key word: near. A fun and imaginative story of true love. Who doesn't want to read about that?!?!?!
