This Book takes you into a journey of my life. Just like anybody else's life my journey to regain my freedom as an individual has been no easy task and has been filled with things that could have ultimately broke me such as abandonment, being molested, finding my Mother dead and trying to revive her and raising 4 children, infidelity in my marriage and so much more all the while trying to balance my life and get back to myself. It's crazy how life works out but in the end you always come out a winner and I am living proof.

Tyson Pete is more than a nationally recognized author—he’s a movement. A father. A truth-teller. A visionary reshaping the soul of modern fatherhood through the lens of healing, identity, and unconditional love.

From the ashes of abandonment, abuse, and homelessness, Tyson rose—not just to survive, but to become a guiding light for those who were told they didn’t belong. His life’s work is rooted in radical honesty, emotional resilience, and the belief that even the deepest wounds can birth legacies of strength. As a certified life coach, Tyson doesn’t just share his healing—he helps others activate their own.

In July 2025, Tyson’s groundbreaking book Courageous Love: A Self-Help Guide for Gay Fathers was awarded Best Parenting Book at the 2025 Prestigious Regal Summit Book Awards—less than three months after its release. This powerful win cemented Tyson’s voice as a force in literature, advocacy, and modern parenting. The book offers queer fathers and nontraditional families a mirror, a guide, and a place to belong—with honor, compassion, and pride.

But Tyson’s story doesn’t stop at the page. Whether coaching clients through personal breakthroughs or speaking truth on stage, he meets people where they are—and walks with them toward where they dream to be.

A proud Black bisexual father and founder of P.R.O.U.D. Inc., Tyson is redefining what it means to lead with love. He challenges outdated ideas around masculinity, fatherhood, and sexuality—making room for authenticity, vulnerability, and fierce self-worth.

His earlier memoir, Dirty Laundry: Confessions of a Married Bisexual Man, was a literary breakthrough that cracked open necessary conversations about bi+ identity in relationships. The book earned three nominations at the Bi Book Awards and positioned Tyson as a bold, lyrical voice for the unheard.

Outside of writing and coaching, Tyson is also a celebrated private chef, known for soulful dishes that have fed legends like Lauryn Hill, Queen Latifah, Cory Booker, and Michael B. Jordan. Whether he’s feeding hearts, minds, or bodies—Tyson creates experiences that nourish from the inside out.

From books to healing sessions, kitchen tables to global stages, Tyson Pete’s mission is crystal clear: to turn pain into purpose, visibility into validation, and storytelling into salvation. As he expands his presence across books, media, and mentorship, Tyson isn’t chasing applause—he’s building a legacy where others like him finally feel seen, safe, and celebrated.

Because Tyson Pete didn’t just rewrite his story.
He rewrote the rules—proving that the most courageous love is the kind you dare to give yourself.
