Excerpt from Bobby in Search of a Birthday
He was afraid she really might, and was standing with face pressed against the iron bars of the gate when a man drove up back of him with a buggy jammed as full as it would hold of boys and girls from the Home.

A gondolkodásmód sokszor Micimackót idézte bennem.

I couldn't sleep and on LibriVox I previously added this cute little thing to my ToBeListened list. A 5-year-old orphan looks for "a birthdays that he lost before he knew what it was". Adorable, really. It's not a Christmas story, but the kindness and spirit of it is Christmasy. And the reader is Phil Chennevert who I grew to like during Eleanor H. Porter's books. He does a really good job with his voice which makes this 1 hour even better. I'm really glad I found this story.

One of those sweet little tales that randomly happens along. (I actually bought it because of its age -- published in 1961.)
