The images in this book are exceptionally beautiful and give a wonderful impression of the beauty of the city of Petra. However the text that goes with the pictures is less explanatory which is a pity, for there is probably a lot to tell about the founding and the history of the city and its original inhabitants: the Nabataeans. Therefore I give three stars.
