Cute, spunky university student Alby Martin likes nothing more than to take life as it comes, with a big smile, and heart to match. Marcia Carrington writes about the human condition, exploring what makes people tick, but in an upbeat and optimistic tone. She writes in a variety of genres, mainly romance but also, comedy, suspense, crime, paranormal, mystery, YA and NA. Her collection of thirty-four books vary in length from full-length works to novellas, novelettes to short stories.

Marcia's latest book is short story romance THE FUNERAL, released in September 2019, and will be venturing again into science fiction/paranormal territory with DREAM STATE, a novelette slated for release in December 2019.

Apart from writing and reading, Marcia also has a great love for coffee. The morning coffee has always been a staple for Marcia, and something which she cannot do without. There is just something about the fresh aroma of coffee early in the morning, and anytime for that fact, which proves irresistible to her.

This is a great story and I think it came out at a time of great relevance. I see a lot of judgment going on in our world and the author has captured that in this up to date, quirky romance. Alby and Faire are two people who meet under some strange circumstances and who are both being judged wrongly for some things they do. For Alby, it is because he is a model who poses nude, for Faire the judgment comes from a stepfather who only wants her to be a slave to him. The author does a great job connecting with readers in a different kind of love story that will make readers think about how they treat others.

short sweet and interesting story.. however the end kinda left me with questions and confused in spots.. it was over all a good story though. i really enjoyed it :)

This is a seriously unique, quirky, wonderful read that surprised me 100%! I haven't read anything by Marcia Carrington until now and and I was pleasantly pleased with this book. The characters are very likable with great personalities and the story was appealing and had us readers feeling connected and engaged with the situations and characters.

Alby Martin is definitely different than other romances I have read. Its sweet, fun, sassy and quirky. I liked it a lot and enjoyed it greatly!

Alby and Faire meet when Alby saved Faire from being raped. Both find themsleves being judged wrongly for things they do. Alby is a nude model at his college and Faire's stepfather just wants her to be a slave to him.

Well, I think this is an unusual story, and to be frank it is a bit creepy. It is a love story with a little help from beyond the grave. A mother is keeping track of her daughter even though she has long passed. In this case it is lucky that she is!

What a refreshing change! While I had some questions in the end, I did enjoy reading this book! Alby was great! I love how down to earth he is. Every girl wants him and he’s almost shy about it and laughs it off until he meets Faire and both of their lives change forever. I wish I would’ve seen more chemistry between Alby and Faire but for the most part, they care deeply for each other and almost save each other at a time they both needed it. I wanted her to be stronger at the end of her situation but she’s still a great girl! She’s come a long way and definitely deserves a man like Alby! In the end, a bond is created and a loving family is made and that will last a lifetime!
