In fact, he still is. A former drug-lord, Leonardo has done so many things wrong he doesn’t know where to begin righting them. He isn’t sure if he even wants to. It’s far easier to just walk away and start a new life. Except there’s one part of his past he can’t get out of his head.
Cassie Taylor has never been able to let him go…
Despite the constant battle Leo faces with the demons from his past, Cassie is determined to finally break down the hard shell of the rebel she can’t resist. It’s them against the world, and Cassie believes their love is strong enough to overcome any obstacle in their path.
If only things were that simple…
The cartel they escaped isn’t finished with them. Cassie must prove that when it comes to the man she loves and the life they’ve built together, nothing and no one will stop her from getting what she wants, to be…
"I'm a hopeless romantic with a dark side. Be warned, I may give my characters their Happily Ever After, but I make them work hard for it!"
Laura is a self-confessed geek. She has always had a wild imagination and a sense of creativity that often runs away with her, engrossing her for days in many a story that haunts her thoughts until it eventually makes it to the page. An avid rock music fan, Laura spends most of her free time listening to music at home or going to concerts with her friends, and this love of music often makes its way into her creative writing.
Second and last book in this dark romance duology and this picks up immediately after book one. Bam, you're straight back into the steam.
I really enjoyed this, more than book one actually. Book one was hot and really good but this one really turned the heat to scorching. So many trigger warnings though so be careful of those.
Wrapped up nicely and will definitely be reading more from this author. Four flaming hot stars.
The continuation of Leo and Cassie's story is just as suspenseful, sexy, and all consuming as the first one. Their story was addicting and fun to read. Forever Love picks up right where Forever Lost ended. We get to see how Cassie has moved on after dealing with her past. I liked seeing that things for her came to a happy ending, and I loved getting more of Mr. Solomon! Leo is one hot alpha that I'm sure everyone will enjoy meeting! This book is a great addition to the series!
The sequel to Forever Lost was an anticipated read for me and had a lot to live up to. But boy was I desperate to get back to one of my many fictional men (spot the filthy blogger with her collection of men!)
I have to commend Laura for her writing as I sometime struggle to get back into the beginning of a series, remembering how it all ended...but the seamless storytelling from book one to book two was really well done without being rehashed.
Finding Cassie and rebuilding their relationship after the horror of Cassies capture and not to mention Leo's *sigh* incarceration, they both find level ground on what they had to tell one another. Discuss what still haunts them both...
Excerpt: Leo had died inside, only to be reborn through his need for vengeance and his desire to save her. He just hoped that now she might be able to save him in return.
Similarly to the first book, the authors ability to capture their words beautifully is as ever apparent...and this was another of the major points of my love of this spectacular book.
Excerpt: ...Cassie no longer trembled and hid her scars from him, but Leo had been forced to see for himself that it wasn't because she's overcome them. It was because the scars now ran deeper than simply on her skin. She was riddled with them inside and out, just like he was, and he hoped that despite his downfalls, he could be the one to help her overcome the past.
A seriously sexy, hot as hell read that made me fall even more in love with Leo - who knew that was even possible?!
I just never manage to find fault with Leo and Cassie...and it felt like a privilege to be a part of their developing relationship and all the chaos that comes with their journey to happiness. A definite 5* must read.
So this is book 2 of the duet and it was so worth the wait. After waiting patiently (or not) for this book to be released I was eager to sink my eyes and mind into the world of Leo and Cassie again. I started it as soon as it arrived on my kindle I knew I wasn't going to be able to wait to read it and so started it thinking I could just get a taste for it and finish it the next day… that didn't happen. So the story sets off exactly where book 1 left you by the tiny thread of your sanity and it really doesn't leave you disappointed. There are fantastic twists and turns and just when you think you have worked out exactly what's going to happen the story throws you a curve ball.. you can kinda hear the words laughing at you ad you was so sure you figured it out and you was so so wrong. We continue to follow Leo and Cassie as they try to make a future and forget the demons of their past. They are incredible characters with Cassie being one hell of a strong female lead. The characters progress really well through the book and we meet some new characters aswell as the ones we grew to love and hate through book 1. This book brought out so many different emotions from me and I'm sure I shouldn't be reacting in such a way to some of the scenes in here *fans self* but the descriptive writing leaves it impossible to not feel the emotions coming from this book. I cried, laughed, swooned, clenched, the whole lot. This story was left with a perfect ending with all lose ends being tied up. You don't feel like you have missed anything or need to know more because it's just complete. I rate this story 5 absolute stars!

OMG!!!! I was so excited to read the next instalment of Cassie and Leo's story. I loved forever lost so was hoping that forever love would deliver – and deliver it did!! The story carries on from exactly where forever lost finished and straight away I was drawn back into their story again, plus who wouldn't want more of Leo!! As with book one, I found it to be very well written and it also has a good pace which keeps you interested, so you want to keep reading. I love the Leo from the beginning and I really loved how his character evolved over this book. I honestly thought I predicted how this book would play out but boy was I wrong! A final twist that I didn't expect happened and I loved it!! Overall a fantastic sequel and conclusion to Cassie and Leo's story and well deserving of the five stars I give it.
Reviewed on behalf of 2 Girls who love books blog I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. After the first book ended with a cliffhanger, I couldn’t wait to see how Leo and Cassie would find each other again, psychically, because physically they met again in the end of Forever Lost. I wasn’t disappointed. During the first part of the book it is described how they both fight the demons that haunt them from the past while building a new life for themselves. (SPOILER from here on!) In the second part this changes and the cartel is back to take revenge on Cassie. They kidnap her and want to take her back to Mexico. Using GG from the first book nearly breaks Cassie, but he lets her go and she can escape with the help of the Secret Service. In this book there were some things that disturbed me as well, for example that GG tells Cassie how Leo remained untouched in the prison and that he did it with fighting and blood and it didn’t seem as if she would care at all. It was randomly mentioned and never picked up again. Also they go in a witness protection program in the end and are still able to see her brother? Also doesn’t add up since you are not allowed to have contact to your family I witness protection. However I loved the final conclusion of the story and really enjoyed how Cassie and Leo both grew stronger after they were able to overcome their demons from the past. Five out of Five stars and a total recommendation!
This book picks up where Forever Lost left off, and although it didn't go in the direction I was expecting, It was great to see Cassie and Leo grow. Not only as individuals but also as a couple. While it isn't as nitty gritty as the first book, it's still one that keeps you gripped and hoping for the couple to come out on top. If you've read the first book, then you'll know that the characters are easy to fall in love with and it's still the same in this book. I do recommend you read Forever Lost before you read this but it's one for your TBR List
*Read as part of KU* Well this book jumped straight back into the rollercoaster that is Leo and Cassies life a year after they last saw each other and boom did the fireworks explode instantly yet again. After never expecting to see him again hearing the words 'Do you have any Chardonnay? I'm not really one for Champagne' gave Cassie the body shivers she always got just from being in the same room as her and things hadn't changed since the first day. Yet again this book is filled with more horrors.. more emotions.. more upset and drama and it is just so good! Laura Morgan knows how to write a great dark romance for sure!
A perfect end to a perfect series. I loved reading this collection. This author has the habit of bringing you into her world of imagination. You could feel every emotion of the two characters. She has put her beautiful heart and soul into writing this. I adored reading it and just hope that eventually the series will be continued as I cannot get enough.
Honestly, this book didn’t need to be written imo. The story could have been added to the first book which was over 4000 words. The two books had too much drama to make it actually enjoyable. I was tempted to stop reading book one, but then I was over 2000 words in and decided to keep going.
Reviewed for 2 Girls Who Love Books Blog. I was very anxious to start Forever Loved since I had just read the last line in Forever Lost "Do you have any chardonnay? I'm not really one for champagne." Book 1 of this series had us waiting for the reunion of Cassie and Leo and it finally happened - on the last line of the book. Needless to say, after typing my review, I opened my Kobo and go right to it. Even though Leo has done his share of 'bad' things, no strike that, he has done his share times 100, I still totally fell in love with him and wanted only the best for him - I could see through that hard Mr. Solomon exterior into the heart and soul of Leo. Sometimes, having to show his hardened exterior but inside he is very lovable and wants only to forgiven and redeemed by his one and only Cassie. Forever Loved delves into the trials, nightmares, and demons that both Cassie and Leo will forever suffer in some way. The terrorizing things they have endured, mostly for the other, would not be possible for most people, but their desire to save the other from torture, and possible death, saw them through. Their reunion is touching and they soon decide that wasting any more time apart if futile - their mutual attraction will win no matter how hard they tried to tame it - so why bother. Instead, we follow Leo and Cassie's rise from the ashed, see them flourish in business and as a couple, all the while knowing that they will never be save from the clutches of the Cartel, no matter that The Boss is now dead - revenge will come for them one day. Forever Lost is full of erotic love scenes, bdsm, drama, suspense, twists and turns. I absolutely fell in love with Leo, even with all of his faults and sexual proclivities - he is really a very forgiving although obsessive and possessive man :) This book begged me to sit down and read it straight through, which is what I did, whenever life allowed of course. I thoroughly enjoyed the special treat that the author left at the end of the book for us - You will have to read to find out what it is :) I've rated this story at 4 stars only because I reserve 5 for gut-retching sob stories. Although there were some gut-retching times where I feared the worst, I was able to hold back the tears (barely).
I award five stars, but would give more if I could. I was so eager to delve into the next chapter in Leo and Cassie’s life after the cliffy from book one. I was keen to find out what the future had in store for them and would their demons come back to haunt them. Book two starts where book one ended and I was soon whisked off into their world of love, where both are trying to deal with all that they encountered from the first book. I was sucked in, yet again, by Ms Morgans’ writing style. Her words captivate me, full stop. These books are my faves of 2016, and I’m pleased to say I own signed copies of both. They are sexy as hell, deep and all the suspense had me gripped. Laura is well known for writing dark paranormal, with an edge, and that side of her shone through in these books. A fantastic read, and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
I loved Forever Lost and had been impatiently waiting for Forever Loved....and was not disappointed. Cassie and Leo came back full force and Laura provided a great storyline for them to continue their romance whilst maintaining the characters personas. There are some great new characters and a touch of the 'old' who all play such key figures in the plot. I loved the ending...certainly not as I was expecting so I shan't give it away! Definitely recommended. The story flows really well and keeps you totally captivated!!
I always know I'm going to be hooked from the start with Laura's books! This second instalment was just as good as the first, but more lovey dovey. I was so eager to read this to find out where Cassie and Leo's love life went, and no surprise, I was not disappointed. I'm so chuffed with the happy ending, they earned it! Thanks again Laura for a great read and letting me get lost and unwind in this
Bad boy Leo is back and him and Cassie are on for a rollercoaster of a ride to get their Happy Ending. It's a brilliant read, following their journey. Will they make it work? Who will stand in their way? I read this book in one day because I couldn't put it down. The ending was absolutely fab too - just the way I like it.
Cannot recommend this series and book enough! Absolutely loved it. When I reached the epilogue I was excited to read the end of the story for Cassie and Leo but sad to be ending it as I was enjoying it so much! Well done Laura Morgan, you have hooked me with your books, I shall definitely be reading more.
