For Level 2 Readers who find literacy a slog, maybe this fantasy book will be just the thing.
As you Goodreaders may know, "Hello Kitty" is not a greeting but a character.
She expands her improbable repertoire by starring in the winter play at school. This allowed cartoonish cat to play an angel, then to do amazing things, such as:
"Hello Kitty made the snow stop
with her wand."
Okaaaaay. Granted, this is not my favorite book, but I prefer to rate books in terms of intended readership. On their behalf, cuteness wins and this book gets FIVE STARS.
