No, I'm not giving this one star because it was too shocking, I knew what I let myself in for.
No, I'm not giving this one star because I caught half a dozen grammar mistakes in a 19 page story, though I do feel this author should be ashamed for expecting people to take him seriously if he can't be bothered to make it as good as possible.
No, I'm not giving this one star because I didn't like the writing style - there is a talent there, some kind of unique flow, but it is almost like trying to do gangster rap with an umpa band.
I am giving this story one star because the author gave this guy two completely conflicting personalities - is it supposed to be a psychopath feeling empathy for others or a normal guy who does fucked up shit? As a true crime expert, sir, you should know better, don't you think?
I don't normally comment on things like format but, I'm not sure what was going on with the format here. It still made for a super disturbing story. It just took me a second to realize it was a story formatted oddly and not a poem. There are double spaces and...it's odd. But please..don't let that take away from enjoying the story. This is the second story I've read by this author and both times I've felt like I caught a sneaking glimpse of something I'm not supposed to. Something dark and violent. This is not for the faint of heart. Hard-core horror fans only.
