Probably the most thorough book on police supervision I have read. It ranges talks about police tactics to implement as a leader and even goes into specifics from the point of a director, to a Chief, Major, Captain, Lieutenant, and front line supervisor/Sergeant. Great book for up and coming or newly promoted supervisors. Heck even established or senior supervisors could learn a ton from this book.

Not a well written book. Every other word (s) is "crucial" , "more importantly", "critical" , "best" etc...I have no idea what to focus on when everything allegedly is SO important.

Common sense should have dictated to emphasize certain points, but not the entire book.

A very poor written book!!
